youth groups
Brentford Free Church has a large number of different groups for young people. We want children and young people to have the opportunity to learn about God and encounter Him during their time with us through worship, prayer, teaching and fun activities geared to their specific age group. Each of the groups runs its own programme of events. The common theme throughout each of the groups however, is the Christian element that exists in one form or another.
For ages 0-2 years we have Creche, which takes place every Sunday morning by starting out in the main service for about twenty minutes and then splits of into its own group.
Sparks is a group for children between the ages of 2 1/2 - 5 years. It takes place every Sunday morning by starting out in the main service for about twenty minutes and then splits of into its own group.
Junior Church is a group for young people between the ages of 5-11 years. It takes place every Sunday morning by starting out in the main service for about twenty minutes and then splits off into its own group.

Please see news and events for date specific information.
football team

We’re a church-based team playing in the Ealing Churches Football League. The reason our team was formed in 1980 was to provide a football team for Christians at South Ealing Mission, and to provide something to invite mates to get involved in. Over the years this has changed a little but the main aim is the same, and we encourage the game to be played in the right spirit, without the dirty tackles and swearing taken as the norm in most other teams and leagues. The team is mostly made up of players who are friends and friends of friends and who are mainly based from our church, Brentford Free Church.
If you want to be part of our squad then we expect you get fully involved with all the team activities, adhere to the team rules and be 100% committed to the team. We have team training once a week on a Monday night. Whilst the evenings are light, we train in Blondin park, just off Boston Manor road / Windmill Road / Northfields avenue. Once the light goes, we will continue to train on a Monday, at Elthorne sports centre. Our matches are played on Saturday mornings with KO 10.30am. Our Home pitch is London Playing Fields, Birkbeck Avenue, Greenford. If you are interested in getting involved, please contact Tim Lofthouse at Lofthouse.t@pg.com to find out more.
