KICK BRENTFORD - FOOTBALL ACADAMY

A PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN

AND

Introduction:

SiB have partnered with Kick London to run a Football Academy for young people in Brentford, which seeks to “Transform young people’s lives, with God’s love, through football”.

What is the purpose of the academy:

To work with young people within the local community of Brentford to teach:

  • Football skills, delivered by FA qualified football coaches
  • Life skills, such as; self-control, discipline, teamwork, and responsibility
  • Christian values

Who is the academy for?

The academy is open to all young people and is split into two groups, those between the ages of 7 - 14 (school years 3 - 9) and those between the ages of 3-7 (school years 2 and under), whatever their level or standard of football – this is about “football for all” not elitism.

It is specifically aimed at young people within the Brentford area who have no or little connection with Church.

Who runs the academy?

Kick London provide an FA qualified football coach to run the academy, together with at least 2 coaches (per week) from SiB who have been trained by Kick London.

Where is the academy held?

The academy is held in St. Paul’s Park, off Lateward Rd in Brentford. (Map)

When does the academy run?

The academy runs every Sunday during school term-time from 12.30pm to 2:00pm.
